For Families

Finding the right childcare doesn’t need to feel overwhelming.
We take the time to understand your family’s needs, routines and values, then match you with a nanny who feels like the perfect fit.

What your nanny will do

  • Daily care & routines

  • Feeding, nappies, naps & comforting

  • Play & early learning activities

  • Sensory play & creative play

  • Outdoor adventures & walks

  • Simple meal prep

  • Keeping play areas tidy

  • Supporting your child’s routine

The Process

Placement Fee

We take a small registration fee when you begin your search.
This is deducted from your final placement fee, so you never pay twice.

We offer a 6-month rematch, meaning if your nanny isn’t the right fit, we will attempt to match you with another nanny free of charge.

01

How Your Nanny Gets Paid

Agree the hourly/monthly rate

As you will be your nanny's employer, setting the pay is down to you. This will be based on your nanny’s experience, qualifications and responsibilities.

02

Pick a payroll

To keep everything legal and simple, North Coast Nannies advise on using a payroll system. This ensures you follow your guidelines as an employer.

Options to check out:

  • Nanny Payroll

  • NannyTax

  • NannyWage

03

Pay your nanny monthly

You simply transfer their wages, payroll handles the admin.

Tax-Free
Childcare

If your nanny registers under the Home Childcare Providers Scheme, you may be able to pay them through the Tax-Free Childcare system, saving 20% on childcare costs.
We can guide families on how this works.
